Where it works
Heart symbols and styled text paste into Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Discord and almost anywhere else. The outline ♡ and simple ❤ hearts are the most universal. Fully coloured emoji hearts (💕💖) render in colour on phones but may appear black-and-white in some desktop apps — that's normal and doesn't break anything.
Where these hearts come from
The line hearts (♡ ♥) are in the Miscellaneous Symbols block and predate emoji by decades, which is why they're so widely supported. The colourful ones (💕) are true emoji from the Supplemental Symbols and Pictographs range. All of them are standard Unicode, so copy-paste carries them anywhere with no download.
